I had a dream that i was crossing the street in my home town Long beach CA. And all of a sudden I saw those air force jets dropping missiles at other planes in the sky. Buildings were getting bombed. everywhere. police everywhere, firefighters everywhere, ambulance, military tanks..OMG people were freaking out running in all directions. people were breaking into cars to evacuate. It was crazy!. I ran home and my sister was packing her stuff .She said she wanted to leave the city. she said to look at the news. And I saw the same thing happening in new york. The buildings were coming down like the day on 9/11..I ran outside and told some old lady to get her stuff and leave the city!. She said ,"No". "I been living here my whole life". ''Im not going anywhere!''. she said that with tears. It made me wanna cry. when i woke up. I was sweating like heck!.. 2 months ago i had a dream similar to this one. But the first one it was a little different. I was waking up and i had dust all over my body. i got up and looked around everything was destroyed. It look like a big earth quake had hit us. everyone was dirty covered in dust helping each other. dead bodies all around me. It was horrible to watch. I had no idea where i was going. i was just lost. there was nobody in the street that i knew. I couldn't find my family anywhere. I will never forget these dreams.

I'm in a rut and need your opinion

I was hanging out with this guy, and it was just platonic. He told me on an occasion or two that he liked me me and that he really thought I was attractive. I always just said thank you. Why does losing the Super Bowl seem worse than missing the playoffs?

I think it's mainly because it really just sucks to get your hopes up and see them make the big game only to see them lose, whereas missing the playoffs is a common occurrence for most teams. But hey, at least you've witnessed them win the Super Bowl a number of other times. Bears fans had to watch our team lose in the Super Bowl just a few years ago and then watch our arch rivals snatch the Halas Trophy away from us by beating us in the NFC Championship and then going on to win the Super Bowl, adding to their 12 rings. Seeing as I wasn't around to witness the Bears win their lone Super Bowl ring in 1985, losing the Championship game to the Packers this year will continue to sting for a pretty long time... =/. But anyway, the Steelers played a great game against a great team, so don't take it too hard. They are still the team with the most Super Bowl appearances and Championships.

All the details I can remember about the movie would make people think it was the movie 'The Rookie' with Dennis Quaid. Now, it could be my memory playing tricks on me, but I remember that I saw The Rookie and really liked it but I don't seem to think that was the movie. There's a couple of reasons I say that.....first of all The Rookie was made in 1994 and I thought that the movie I was thinking of was within the last 2 to 3 years. I'm stuck in a bad position. All the signs have pointed to me being unfaithful to my fiance and in the last week I don't even know that I'd trust him if things were reversed. To make it worse, I have cheated in the past, but we had moved past it and things were going well. We have been together almost 10 years. But last week I got in contact with an old friend (male) and we ended up having a kind of ridiculously long text conversation over a couple of days. This is not the person that I cheated with, nor someone that I slept with, but I feel guilty about some of the things he said but I was feeling really down and lonley and needed someone to talk to. Then my fiance called me very angry about the number of text messages being sent on our account, and I apologized and made up a dumb excuse and stopped sending texts. But the phone company ( we have Sprint) logged another 90 texts after he called me. I told him I had sent no more but I'm sure he didn't believe me. Then our son emptied my purse on the floor and he said there were condoms in it. I told him that our son had been playing with them a while ago and when I took them away I just shoved them in there because it was handy. Which was close to the truth except that I had shoved them into my school bag ( this was MONTHS ago) and the other day they had nearly fallen out n cl and I was embared so I stuck them in my purse in the little zipper pocket and hadn't gotten a chance to take them out. But all of this is starting to stack up into a pretty convincing case against me. Then last night he calls me at work ( I work the nights that I don't have cl, which is another strike against me because I am rarely home in the evenings and it isn't unusual for me to be at work untill 3am) He is furious because he says that he got Sprint to send him the text and picture log from my phone and that while he hadn't gotten the texts yet that someone had sent me a picture of their in the photo log. I told him I never saw the photo, that I hadn't gotten it because I hadn't. I would remember someone's popping up on my phone. But I don't know why he would lie about it and honestly I can see the person the picture was from sending the picture, but the fact remains that I never saw it. At any rate, now he's just stewing at me because he's convinced that when he gets the text logs that it will be some huge exposition of a torrid affair. I'm just sick at this point. I have issues with depression and anxiety as it is and this is driving me up the wall because I know that even with the logs showing me steering away from my conversation being anything but friendly he will still see it the wrong way. I don't even know what to do anymore. I know I deserve the lack of trust, I messed up before and I accept responsibility for that. But what kills me is me feeling like I need to lie to him about things that I shouldn't have to lie about. Feeling guilty when I didn't do anything wrong. I have actually thought about how it would be easier to just avoid the whole confontation by hurting myself. I know that's not ok. I know that there is nothing that would justify killing myself. I know that. But I still think about it sometimes, which makes me feel even guiltier. I actually started punishing myself last week, making myself go the day without eating, seeing how long I could go without food. And the sick thing was it felt good, it felt good to feel hungry, to feel my stomach hurt. And then I started thinking about cutting myself. I almost stopped one night on my way home and bought razor blades because I couldn't bring myself to use the kitchen knives. I just want to make it all go away. Things were already strained because of the financial burden I put on us by going back to school. I feel like I've ruined his life as well as my own. And now I'm putting him through even more torment because of all the suspicion. I guess I'm just rambeling at this point, can anyone help me with something other than see a doctor/therapist? I would definitely recommend switching back to xp. Most computer companies are doing a horrible job getting their drivers and software to to be compatible with vista. It's gonna take some time and new hardware specifically made and tested on vista. IBM/Lenovo is one of these companies and so is compaq apparently.

Which statistical test should I use?

I am working with ocean CTD data (salinity, temperature, oxygen, ect). Data was taken at the same place and time from two different data sources (different CTD's). Is their a statistical test I can use for each variable which will show with some confidence that the data is the same? The data does not have a normal distribution. I was thinking of using an ANOVA test. Any input would help, If you need more information just ask, statistics are not my strong point.

OK, so basically, if i have an empty spray paint can, and i drill a hole towards the bottom, let all the paint and pressure out, then refill maybe a little more than half back up with homemade paint... what can i use to reseal the hole, so that when its sealed, i can repressurize the can (via butane or some other aerosol) without the seal breaking? I tried using some stuff called "faststeel", its a putty that hardens and is "steel reinforced" but even that could not withstand the pressure. i even put a metal patch over the hole, and stuck it with this putty, then puttied around the edges of the patch.. i the let it dry for an hour.. and THEN put gorilla glue over all the putty (after the putty had already hardened for an hour) i THEN wrapped it all in duct tape, but when i repressurized the can from the top valve, the paint still found a way to escape somehow, my guess is the pressure was too high and just tore through the putty seal.. so basically i am asking, what is the strongest epoxy or glue or whatever i can use tobond metal to metal (pretty sure spray cans are steel and other alloys)? i need it to be strong enough to withstand the HIGH pressure of a gas such as butane.. if not... what are some lower pressure gases i can use, in combination with less paint?.. thanks alot for any help, and if you have any ideas on the best way to seal this please help.. peace

I frequently upload & burn my personal movies, lounging and surfing at cafes, burning my photos & copying them to friends, watching movies ( so good audio is important), and using the computer to call overseas so a good mic is also important. Why does my pit bull bite me?

6 months old and I've had her for 2 months. I let her sniff around for a while but at a certain point I want to walk at a steady pace. WHen we get to this point she starts jumping up and biting me and my clothing and will go in circles around me doing this. I have to push her down gently to make her sit, and she will stop biting but when we resume walkin she just starts it again. I've tried telling her no, tried ignoring her, tried gently holding her mouth, none of these work. Today I tried again but she wouldn't stop so I rolled her over on her back in the gr............... she walked well after that. It probably won't work next time though. Is she doing this because she doesn't want me to tell her where to go? How do I stop it? SHe doesn't do this when I talk her on a different street or route.

Flickering TV while watching sky?

Hello, first thing to check is that your sky box and dvd player are outputting RGB as a signal. Go into the setup menus on each item and change the video output to RGB. This will tighten up the picture. If this fails then it is time to look at the quality of your cables. All my screens are Panasonic and they will display a ropey picture if you have poor cables or your video output signals are not set correctly. N.B Standard sky (not HD) broadcast is a very low bandwidth, sensitive high end sets will pick up imperfections in the broadcast and magnify it.

Why Are So Much Writer's DARK & DEPRESSED?

I write myself. And I find everything I tend to write about, is pretty dark and has a negative outlook on life, humanity and human nature. And a lot of other writers do the same thing. A LOT! Or the one's I've read anyway. I always feel this need to show case the worst side of humanity in my writing. Its almost oddly-comforting to vent. Some would call me cynical about life and have.
