Which statistical test should I use?

I am working with ocean CTD data (salinity, temperature, oxygen, ect). Data was taken at the same place and time from two different data sources (different CTD's). Is their a statistical test I can use for each variable which will show with some confidence that the data is the same? The data does not have a normal distribution. I was thinking of using an ANOVA test. Any input would help, If you need more information just ask, statistics are not my strong point.
