My mom is dating a prisoner and...?

he is 28 and she is 63. EWWW!! What the heck? My mom is seriously going mental. Besides the fact that this age difference is freaking me out I truly believe he is guilty and my mom believes he's innocent. He plead guilty to and murder of a 12 year old girl when he was 17. He has been in jail since he was 17. Please help.
