What colour does it give you when starch reacts with amylase in the presence of iodine. Final colour change?

i think i know what experiment you are talking about, is it the one with the semi-permeable bag that doesn't let the starch out? if it is, the starch inside the bag will be a dark purple, almost black color. it looks like string, it is kinda cool.
