Why are so many Republicans endorsing Obama?

Maybe they like Obama. Maybe they see something in his plans that appeals to them. Possibly they do not like McCain, or see something they do not like in his plans. The reason does not matter to me because no political endorsement from anyone has ever effected my choice of who to vote for. I make my choice based on who I believe is the best candidate. Not on the beliefs of someone else. Your last statement is useless because there is no proof to support it one way or the other. I could say I have never voted for a Democrat and you would have no way to validate that statement, but it would be false even if you believed my verbal proclamation. Endorsements serve no real purpose except to those who either seek validation of their own choice, or lack the conviction required to make their own decision.
