yeah the guy is being a typical a**hole. but he is doing the right thing to say he just wants to be friends because he knows he will just keep hurting her. she needs to accept that this guy wont be with just one girl and either be his friend or move on and be totally done with him. sounds to me like he will never be in a relationship with her.
