Applying late for uni?

I'm applying to uni for this Sept, but because its past the 30th June, my only option is to go through clearing. I'm wanting to go to Leeds met uni, to do something to do with events/advertising/marketing; something vocational. I'm currently writing my personal statement. i don't know how to start it! i have written loads of ideas and bullet points about my achievements/skills, my interests and what i want for the future. But because my application is through clearing, i need to keep my options open in my personal statement. has anyone else been in this situation? or anyone who could help out on what i model my statement on? any answers greatly appreciated !
