Flickering TV while watching sky?

Hello, first thing to check is that your sky box and dvd player are outputting RGB as a signal. Go into the setup menus on each item and change the video output to RGB. This will tighten up the picture. If this fails then it is time to look at the quality of your cables. All my screens are Panasonic and they will display a ropey picture if you have poor cables or your video output signals are not set correctly. N.B Standard sky (not HD) broadcast is a very low bandwidth, sensitive high end sets will pick up imperfections in the broadcast and magnify it.
