I don't think you would ever know that this poem is about trichotillomania, but I don't think that matters a bit. Because you have captured, very well, the sense of a compulsion, regardless of the specific nature of it. This is very well done, but I'm not sure about the title - in this case, I think the poem is better than its title, Keep writing.
