Ok i think you dragged out the huff a bit too long so go back to being friendly tomorrow. He obviously wants to be friends with you because he was trying to talk a lot today. Facebook doesn't always work properly so try adding him again and ask him tomorrow if he got the request but yeah basically see if he's normal with you tomorrow after you've spoken to him first and if not apologize for being grumpy. You could even say you were only like that because you would miss him. It doesn't sound like he was laughing at you either. Good Luck :)
